Alpine ski racing champion and Olympic gold medalist

Christina “Tina” Weirather is a World Cup alpine ski racer from Liechtenstein who is also a citizen of Austria. Tina is a member of the national squad for the Liechtenstein Ski Federation. Her most successful discipline is the super-G where she has won seven races so far. Tina also won a bronze medal in the super-G for Liechtenstein at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. She has multiple other achievements in the downhill and giant slalom. In 2019, Tina was named a UNICEF ambassador for Switzerland and Liechtenstein. She ended her competitive skiing career in 2020 and since then she serves as an expert and co-commentator for skiing events broadcasted on the Swiss TV and radio.
