NORQAIN reaches new heights with its Wild ONE Skeleton Chrono

Geneva, Switzerland, 14 April 2026 At Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, the family-owned independent Swiss watchmaker NORQAIN is excited to unveil the Wild ONE Skeleton Chrono, a flyback chronograph designed for athletes and sports enthusiasts, powered by the NORQAIN 8K Manufacture Calibre. This timepiece features a newly developed design with floating transparent discs replacing the small seconds and chronograph minutes hands, enhancing the watch’s lightness while further opening up the view of its exceptional Swiss Made mechanical movement.

The new Wild ONE Skeleton Chrono 42mm stands out with its bold, high-performance design, brought to life through a construction of more than 25 engineered components. Its signature construction features an ultra-robust and ultra-light NORTEQ® carbon fibre cage paired with a rubber shock-absorbing core, delivering outstanding performance and comfort. Finished with a sandblasted titanium container and case back, and front and back flat sapphire glass crystals, it showcases its complex architecture with remarkable clarity. The pushers feature a dynamic, technical design and are secured to the titanium case with screws. This construction, consistent with every component in the collection, reflects the Wild ONE’s cohesive design language and engineering integrity.

The story of innovation continues in the watch’s movement, NORQAIN 8K Manufacture Calibre (NK24/1), an automatic flyback column-wheel chronograph that resets and restarts the chronograph with a single push of the button at 4 o’clock. The watch has twin counters at 12 and 6 o’clock, indicating running seconds and chronograph minutes respectively. It’s also chronometer-certified for accuracy and backed by a 62-hour power reserve.

NORQAIN’s design team then fused the 8K’s base architecture with the company’s pursuit of lightness. With this in mind, they replaced the hands and traditional subdials with wafer-thin transparent floating discs. These create a clear visual path through to the watch’s skeletonised dial and mountain motif, another NORQAIN signature. The result is spectacular visual depth that draws the eye into the watch’s intricate mechanical workings.

The watch also has a pulsometer scale around the dial edge, useful to high-performance athletes looking to calculate their heart-rate before, during and after exercise.

At launch, there are three versions of the Wild ONE Skeleton Chrono 42mm. The standard edition will be available in black NORTEQ® with a black shock absorber on a black rubber strap with turquoise detailing, and an optional turquoise rubber strap. There’ll also be a piece in burgundy NORTEQ® with a black shock absorber on a black rubber strap, with white detailing, which will be limited to 400 pieces.

The third is a special edition limited to 75 pieces that features a top plate in brushed and polished 18-carat 5N “PX IMPACT®” red gold. This responsibly sourced gold is supplied by NORQAIN’s Swiss partner PX Group.

To introduce the new watch, NORQAIN will run a dynamic campaign featuring a trio of NORQAIN ambassadors: the rising star of Swiss football Sydney Schertenleib; Swiss tennis legend and multiple Grand Slam winner Stan Wawrinka; and the iconic Italian footballer and World Cup winner Gianluigi Buffon.
